Police want to question this man over Coalpit Heath post office robbery

POLICE want to question this man about a robbery at Coalpit Heath’s post office.

Officers say a man entered the shop in Woodend Road at about 8.30pm on February 20 and punched another man in the chest and face while taking cash from a till.

The man police want to trace is described as white, approximately 5ft 10in tall and aged in his 30s or 40s.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a black helmet, a black motorbike jacket with ‘Frank Thomas’ written on it, navy blue trousers and purple shoes, with yellow laces.

Police say the victim did not need hospital treatment.

Officers have called on anyone who thinks they know the man in the pictures or has any other information which could help their investigation to call 101 and quote the crime reference number 5224 046 181.
